Dear Reader,
If we were having coffee, I would ask you to meet me at the new Dunkin’ Donuts. I love their coffee and they have outside seating, near a lovely fountain. We will throw in some coins and make a wish! After we grab our treats I would ask: How are you? How was your week? Were you busy? Did your week fly by? I’d listen to all of your news and then tell you mine.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that:
My car has been in the shop this week. I’m driving a cute loaner car. It’s a Jeep Renegade. Kind of fun to drive!
I’ve worked on a few blog posts, and received some very nice comments on some of my posts that are up! I’ve even gained some followers on my blog! I may be starting a challenge soon as well. I will let you know how it goes.
I’m almost done with my “About” page on my blog. This has been somewhat of a priority, however, it’s a work in progress since I don’t have many posts out there in the blogosphere yet.
I’ve been trying to organize my writing space. It’s not going so well!
The wind took down a large ocotillo cactus in our yard. Darn it! That thing was huge and very pretty and very old.
We did have breakfast with friends this morning. The usual way we start our Saturday.
Well, those are the hi-lights of my week. It was a great week! What will you do with the rest of your day? Give me a hug and we’ll catch up next week. Take care!
Are you having coffee with an amazing friend today? I’d like to hear about it! Tell me about it in the comments below. I’ll talk to you soon.
Sorry the wind damage the ocotillo. I love them in bloom.

That’s too bad about the ocotillo. Enjoy the Jeep! They are fun to drive.

Sorry to hear about the cactus, but hope that the plant itself is still salvageable.
I find “About” pages and themes to be some of the most difficult parts of blogging, as they are so important but so tricksy!

Falling trees scare me. I’m in the Pacific Northwest and the trees here are huge. When one goes down, it is often catastrophic. Luckily, we have only been inconvenienced (power out for a couple of days) and not injured nor lost much.

I love ocotillo. I had them when I lived in Las Vegas. I love Dunkin donuts. They have one about 30 miles from my house so I don’t go over there.
